As Vice President of Business Development, Bob La France brings over 19 years of experience in consumer hardware, software and more recently new and traditional media. Bob spent the last 4 years as Vice President of Business Development at MyWire, a subscription based consumer content service, driving traffic and technology partnerships with leading print and online publishers, search engines and portals. Prior to MyWire, Bob was Vice President of Business Development at Storymail, a software company distributing rich content and applications to PC’s, mobile phones and set-top boxes which was acquired by Gemstar TV-Guide in 2002. Before joining Storymail, Bob spent 5 years in senior management positions at Macromedia responsible for channel sales, corporate and education sales and ecommerce and lead teams generating 30%+ annual sales growth. Earlier in his career, Bob spent 7 years at Apple Computer in various channel and sales positions, including spearheading Apple’s first InsideSales organization in Austin, Texas. Bob holds a BA from the University of California, Berkeley.
